Senior IT Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Technical Support Engineer to be a critical member of our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for providing advanced, Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to our internal users, focusing on complex hardware, software, and network issues that require in-depth troubleshooting and problem resolution. The Senior Engineer acts as an escalation point for junior IT staff, owning highly technical and persistent issues through to completion. This role involves designing and implementing long-term solutions, managing major incidents, and contributing to the stability and security of the entire IT infrastructure. Ultimately, the Senior IT Technical Support Engineer is essential for minimizing system downtime, enhancing end-user productivity, and ensuring the reliability and performance of all critical business technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year work experience
• A CompTIA A+ Certification is a must
• Serve as the primary escalation point (Tier 3) for complex technical issues related to operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), enterprise applications, virtual environments, and critical network components.
• Provide expert support for server infrastructure (e.g., Active Directory, Azure/AWS services, virtualization platforms), network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and unified communications systems.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for recurring or major incidents, developing and documenting permanent solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Assist in planning, testing, and deploying new hardware, software, and infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth transitions and comprehensive support documentation.
• Mentor and train junior technical support staff, contribute to the knowledge base, and ensure all procedures and resolutions are accurately documented.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies and tools (e.g., antivirus, patch management, access control) to protect the company's IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical assistance to employees in the Rental, Invoicing, Purchasing, Sales Support Departments and/or employees assigned at 1st floor
• Administer any Telco/ISP concerns for the company, including smart, globe, converge, eastern, and PLDT.
• Design graphics, perform image manipulation and/or Photoshop related tasks
• Create and maintain email accounts for employees within the organiazation
• Coordinate with the Department head for updates on pending projects and AP personnel for any concerns related to the internet
• Perform manual backup for the payroll system and prepare a weekly report updates on pending projects
• Perform, as needed, computer reformatting, and printer cleaning
• Arrange installation and configuration of computers for recently hired employees
• Administer internet cables and assess problems and replace as needed
• Print Identification cards for directly hired company employees
• Generate biometrics data backup, conduct scheduled PC maintenance, and provide assistance for CCTV and biometrics concern
• Perform other tasks that is assigned by the immediate supervisor.
