Estimator (multiple roles)

We are hiring multiple skilled estimators to join our team. These roles are critical for accurately determining project costs and ensuring our proposals are both profitable and attractive. Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of estimation principles. Previous experience in estimation in the built environment sector is preferable but not mandatory.

This role reports into the bid team manager and may require communication with the global business development team operating across multiple time zones.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Meticulous precision is critical for accurately calculating project costs and preventing errors that could impact the bid's competitiveness or profitability.
• The ability to analyse project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand all components and requirements is essential. This includes identifying potential risks or hidden costs.
• A solid understanding of the construction and manufacturing processes, materials, and labour involved in the projects is vital for producing realistic and accurate estimates.
• Experience with relevant estimating software and tools, as well as proficiency in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel, is necessary for efficient and precise work.
• Perform digital takeoffs using On-Screen takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar that highlight the scope of work.
• Build and maintain rapport and an open line of communication with the entire project management team.
• Work with the team to review and finalize takeoff.

Language requirements:

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English coupled with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to allow for the successful collaboration of the manilla team.

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma Education level, with min 5 years' experience in industry

Technical skills:

Proficient in reading drawings, specifications. Ability to do take off. Competent in using Microsoft applications and other software platform.

Remuneration:
₱46,000 – ₱60,000 per month (PHP)
