About the role

Philmetal Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Makati. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the success of our construction projects by preparing accurate cost estimates and detailed bids. What you'll be doing

  • Conducting a thorough analysis of construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify all material, labor, and equipment requirements
  • Researching and compiling current pricing information for materials, labor, and equipment
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals that align with project scope and client requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates
  • Maintaining a database of cost and pricing information to support future estimating efforts
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing recommendations to improve project profitability
  • Assisting with the preparation of project budgets and cash flow projections

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the Steel Industry, preferably in the Philippines
  • Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in estimates
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools, such as Excel, Timberline, or similar programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
