We are on the lookout for a dedicated Custom Production Estimator who possesses expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mandatory experience across the full estimation lifecycle.

What We're Looking For: Minimum 4+ Years Recent Australian Experience   

We require an experienced estimator who meets the following mandatory criteria:

Mandatory Requirements   

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of production estimating experience in Australia (must be recent and relevant).
• Technical Core: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, calculations, and reporting.
• Core Functions: Mandatory knowledge of the full estimation lifecycle, including:
• Detailed Takeoffs
• Creating accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
• Managing Purchase Orders (POs)
• Understanding Margin/Costing
• Estimating Scope: Experience with Whole Package Estimating (not limited to simple square meterage calculations).
• Material Knowledge: Basic knowledge or idea of material usage, consumption, and waste.
• Quality Control: Experience in reviewing and checking (peer or own) estimates to ensure accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work Style & Attitude: Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member, with an excellent, positive attitude and a clear drive for professional growth.

Highly Desired Experience (Ideal Candidate) 

• Experience Type: Recent experience in Custom Home estimating (a mix of production and custom is ideal).
• Longevity: 5+ years of total Australian estimating experience.
• Software: Direct experience with Bluebeam or Planswift (similar take-off software is acceptable).
• Leadership: Past Team Leader experience or strong, expressed aspirations to lead a team.
• Supplier Relations: Willingness and past experience talking to Australian suppliers for pricing and technical queries.
