Role Overview:

The Accounting Supervisor leads and manages the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations. This role involves overseeing daily accounting tasks, reviewing reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Team:

  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and training.
  • Ensure timely completion of all accounting tasks.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review monthly and yearly financial reports.
  • Ensure reports comply with accounting standards (GAAP)

Manage Accounts:

  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Reconciliation & Analysis:

  • Review bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial results and address discrepancies.

Compliance:

  • Ensure tax compliance and prepare tax returns.
  • Maintain internal controls to protect company assets.

Process Improvement:

  • Look for ways to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Collaboration:

  • Work with other departments to support cross-functional needs.

Qualifications (JQ)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Skills:

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, ODOO).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.

Attributes:

  • Good leadership and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
