We're seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager with 10-12 years of progressive experience in general accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry to be assigned in Pasig City.

The Finance and Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting and financial reporting processes. This role will play a key part in strategic financial planning, budget management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong leadership skills, extensive experience in financial management, and a solid understanding of SAP systems within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.

Role Overview:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and payroll.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
  • Manage cost accounting and ensure proper allocation of manufacturing and operational expenses.
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure data integrity and safeguard assets.
  • Utilize SAP for financial management, reporting, and process automation.
  • Support management in decision-making through financial insights and risk analysis.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
  • Reports to the Financial Controller and Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 10–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing company.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO module preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of local tax laws, PFRS, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
