HR Generalist

Full-Time | Remote | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours Per Week

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST (Los Angeles), with 1-hour lunch break

We are a Los Angeles–based company seeking a highly experienced HR Generalist to join our team full-time. This is a remote position based in Manila, Philippines, supporting our U.S. operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR for U.S. companies and is fully knowledgeable in California labor laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, documentation, and compliance
  • Support recruitment, including candidate screening and interview coordination
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees
  • Maintain and update HRIS and ATS systems
  • Assist with payroll coordination and related tasks through QuickBooks
  • Ensure consistent compliance with California employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain organized HR records, reports, and documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience for a U.S.-based company
  • Strong knowledge of California HR compliance and employment regulations
  • Proficient with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and QuickBooks
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and general HR operations
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working full-time during U.S. Pacific Standard Time hours
