Job Description:

  • handles the financial aspects of the community, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable and payable. They ensure accurate financial records, track cash flow, and prepare financial statements to provide the board with a clear understanding of the HOA's financial standing.

Key Responsibilities of an HOA General Accountant:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and liabilities.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing regular financial statements like balance sheets, income and expense statements, and cash flow statements to provide a comprehensive overview of the HOA's financial health.
  • Accounts Receivable: Managing the collection of homeowner assessments, dues, and other fees.
  • Accounts Payable: Processing payments to vendors and service providers.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development and monitoring of the HOA's annual budget and providing financial forecasts.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Auditing: Preparing documentation for and assisting with the annual financial audit.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Graduate
  • Well versed and experienced in HOA processes
  • Preferably from real estate company
  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Ability to do monitoring and record keeping
  • Able to perform admin tasks
  • Knowledge in tax filing requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
