Area Accounting Supervisor

The Area Accounting Supervisor is responsible for responding initially to any personnel, reports, and internal control issues of all properties handled by MPMC and relaying any concerns unanswered to the immediate supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform initial review of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for all handled properties. (Field work)
  • Perform weekly visits on site to follow thru on any issue or concerns
  • Assists Property Accountants on issues/concerns regarding the accounting system and accounting procedures.
  • Assists and coordinate to Property Accountants regarding government requirements and compliances.
  • Coordinate with Associate Finance and Accounting Manager any issues/concerns regarding property accounting, reports and/or internal control;
  • Act as a stand in when a Property Accountant position on site is vacant or the personnel is on leave, at the same time be familiarized with each property's accounting details and special cases.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent;
  • With 4 years experience in property management accounting, financial report, taxation of Condo Corp and/or HOA and permits processing;
  • Highly analytical, keen on details, works well under pressure and results-oriented;
  • With good communication skills & interpersonal skills;
  • Computer proficient
