What You'll Do

• Ensure that all supported platforms adhere strictly to standard operating models by managing application and infrastructure patches, upgrades, and installation of platform components with meticulous attention to detail.
• Perform technical production support activities on assigned applications, including monitoring jobs, overseeing production processes, investigating functional or technical issues, resolving incidents efficiently, and leading documentation efforts for overall platform support.
• Proactively monitor data and analytics operations by producing detailed reports on governance activities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
• Automate reporting processes related to operations and governance activities to streamline workflows and improve accuracy across the department's functions.
• Safeguard platform stability by monitoring data flows, ensuring high standards of data quality, managing license usage and platform costs, and evaluating the effectiveness of departmental operations processes.
• Gather comprehensive data required for enforcing platform policies related to usage management, infrastructure monitoring, data security protocols, access controls, landscape environment management, incident management, problem resolution, and change management procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of policies governing all data analytics platforms by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Participate in shift work or weekend/on-call support as needed to maintain uninterrupted service delivery for critical business applications.
• Assist in creating and executing test cases and scenarios for new solutions or enhancements to existing systems as part of the department's commitment to continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated understanding of data architecture principles along with hands-on experience designing scalable data pipelines using modern integration patterns.
• Proficiency in software analysis tools such as ETL solutions (including Azure Data Platforms), Databricks or Master Data Management systems (preferably Informatica), coupled with familiarity with ITIL Service Management Frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical skills enabling you to solve complex problems efficiently while remaining adaptable when faced with changing requirements or new technologies.
• Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills that foster effective collaboration within cross-functional teams focused on shared goals.
• Agility in adapting quickly to evolving technologies or shifting project priorities while maintaining a positive attitude towards learning new concepts.
• Meticulous attention to detail when coding solutions or debugging issues ensures high-quality deliverables are consistently achieved.
• Bachelor's degree relevant to information technology or computer science provides a solid foundation for success in this role.
• At least two years' experience providing production support or managing operations within an enterprise IT environment demonstrates your dependability under pressure.
• Previous exposure to shift work schedules—including weekends or on-call assignments—shows your flexibility in meeting organisational needs without compromising service quality.
• Experience supporting creation and execution of test cases for new solutions highlights your commitment to thoroughness during system enhancements.
