The Geodetic Engineer will come up with creative solutions to transform the way worksites in the Philippines use UAV and drone data. They'll train and empower customers to accurately manage and measure their site. They will also lead our internal training for team members, set strategy, and monitor progress towards team goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train members of the team on drone mapping and data processing using various software, highlighting positives and negatives of each software/solution.
  • Lead training programs related to Enterprise drones.
  • Lead on-site demos for potential clients, explaining use cases of products.
  • Be the point of contact regarding technical issues raised by customers and our team's questions relating to Enterprises drone services.
  • Develop materials to use in client training.
  • Explore value-adding services, related to Enterprise drones, to offer our clients.
  • Perform market studies on potential customers/users/products of Enterprise drones and develop strategies to open these channels.
  • Take initiatives regarding the points above as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Geodetic Engineering graduate, preferably licensed
  • Has at least 2 years of experience with surveying, field deployment, and services
  • Has experience in client servicing-related work
  • Ability to work onsite and manage to do fieldwork.
  • Can facilitate training, one-to-many, and closed doors type of presentations.
  • Knowledgeable in UAVs, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and Surveying.
  • Has experience with any of the following tools:
  • Software: DJI Terra, Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D Software, QGIS, Autocad: Civil3D
  • Surveying Equipment: Total Stations, GNSS RTK Receivers, Drones / UAV, Hydrones (Echosounder)
