
HR Payroll Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Is responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of payroll for monthly, daily and piece rate employees of the company and its affiliates paid on a weekly and bi-monthly basis
- Manages electronic timekeeping systems or manually collects and reviews timesheets
- Calculates and monitors accurately payable hours, withholding taxes, leave credits, mandated remittances, contributions and deductions, including company loans, 13th month pay and last pays
- Prepares and distributes all pay slips on time
- Coordinates with the HR Assistant tasked with correct employee data
- Assists in benefits administration and processes payments for SSS, PHIC, Pag-IBIG and BIR (1601c)
- Prepares and submits journal entry vouchers and provides administrative assistance to the Accounting Department
- Ensures timely submission of BIR yearend reports such as BIR Alphalist of Employees and BIR Form 2316
- Provides information and answering employee questions on payroll related matters
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate from a bachelor degree program preferably in accounting, business administration, finance
- With at least 2 years work experience in handling payroll
- With experience handling annualization
- with exposure in preparing 1601c
- Proficient in taxation and a working knowledge of relevant legal regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong adherence to confidentiality of information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
