Job Summary:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role involves maintaining payroll records, verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and tax regulations. The Payroll Specialist works closely with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies, answer employee inquiries, and support payroll reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile timekeeping records and employee work hours.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and deductions in the payroll system.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports (e.g., taxes, government contributions, year-end reports).
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and net pay.
  • Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation, benefits, and employee data updates.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
