The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for understanding and meeting the hiring requirements of the assigned Business Unit/s of Section in compliance to the company standards and Recruitment Policy and Processes. This includes filling of vacancies within service level agreement and ensuring a good candidate experience for candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Posting of job vacancies to job boards and career site.
  • Source, screen and schedule candidates based on the requirement of the line.
  • Conduct initial interviews with candidates.
  • Provide endorsement to line managers, and schedule candidates for the line manager's interview.
  • Conduct background checks, and endorse results to the line.
  • Calibrate with payroll on recommended salary scale of candidates.
  • Oversee job preview sessions and conduct job offers with candidates, negotiate with candidates when necessary.
  • Send notice of job offer acceptance to stakeholders, and inform them on the start date of new hire.
  • Discuss pre-employment requirements of new hires and agree on timelines and start dates.
  • Monitor pre-employment requirements submission including pre-employment medical exam.
  • Preparation of new hire requirements including encoding of new hire details, and preparation of employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, job descriptions and ID's.
  • Collaborates with HR Services to ensure employee creation in HCM.
  • Arrange New Employee Orientation Sessions with new hires, speakers, and HR Business partners.
  • Conduct New Employees' Orientation Sessions.
  • Endorse New Hires to Line Managers during their Day 1.
  • Research on market and industry trends on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Research and study assessments in the market and make recommendations.
  • Ensures the rehiring process is implemented group-wide.
  • Calibrates with HR Business Partners & Line Managers on business requirements in relation to their vacancies.
  • Communicates candidate status to stakeholders including job offer acceptance, application withdrawal, etc.
  • Updating and providing relevant reports to Line Managers and/or HR Business Partners.
  • Manage candidates by ensuring that they get a positive experience from initial application to the final on-boarding process.
  • Ensures the implementation of standard procedures, policies, rules and regulations regarding Recruitment.
  • Makes recommendations on improvements of policies and procedures in Recruitment.
  • Manage candidates by ensuring a consistent positive experience from initial application to the final pre-on boarding process.
  • Maintain the Integrity of all TA-related documents, trackers and reports.
  • Ensures that recruitment expenses are within the set budget.
  • Works with Data Privacy Office in the review of the Talent Acquisition Team's Privacy Impact Assessments.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resource Development Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science or equivalent.
  • Must have 3-4 years relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Willing to work full-time on a flexible on-site schedule in Malate, Manila.
