Be part of our client's team as a Senior Finance Accounts Officer, managing day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly reconciliations, generating invoices, following up on overdue accounts, and supporting balance sheet and ad hoc finance tasks-ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient financial operations across the business.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Sound working knowledge of accounting information systems (QuickBooks & Xero)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level
• Proven ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and show initiative
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound numeracy skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Manage daily emails with 98% accuracy
• Post invoices and credit notes correctly, reconciling statements weekly (95% accuracy)
• Complete month-end reconciliations accurately within three business days

Your Day-to-Day Impact

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable workflows, including invoice generation and receipting
• Manage accounts payable workflows, including supplier statement reconciliation and prompt action on outstanding items
• Respond to creditor inquiries and manage related matters
• Manage accounts email for multiple businesses in a timely and organized manner
• Follow up on overdue accounts and manage debt recovery processes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding transactions and account information
• Assist the Finance team with monthly balance sheet and key account reconciliations
• Perform ad hoc tasks, including supporting process improvement projects to ensure operational efficiency
