We are engaged by a boutique IT consulting firm in Singapore specializing in Identity and Access Management. Established in 2017, the company is led by senior security experts delivering IAM solutions across the Asia region. They are looking for an Accounting Officer who will work closely with the CEO and manage end-to-end accounting functions. This role suits someone who can operate effectively in a lean and technical environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping
  • Solid understanding of tax compliance, government filings, and statutory deadlines
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership, including the CEO

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end accounting activities including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Prepare, file, and monitor BIR requirements and other government submissions
  • Maintain accurate books, financial records, and supporting schedules
  • Generate timely financial reports and provide updates to the CEO for decision-making
  • Support process and documentation improvements to strengthen accounting controls
