Job Summary:

The Senior Account Officer - Supervisor is responsible for managing client accounts and overseeing the daily operations of the account management team in a non-life insurance setting. The role ensures the proper handling of policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and collections while maintaining strong client relationships. This position also supervises Account Officers, monitors performance, and supports the achievement of production and retention targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide Account Officers in handling client accounts, policy renewals, and endorsements.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, brokers, and partners.
  • Review and approve quotations, proposals, and policy documents before submission to clients.
  • Monitor account performance, including premium production, renewals, and collections.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and finance departments to ensure timely servicing of accounts.
  • Handle major or complex client concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Prepare regular reports on account activities, production performance, and renewal status.
  • Support management in planning and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Conduct team meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations for Account Officers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
