  • Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, laundry and linen, fleet and security, and janitorial work.
  • Performs management evaluation and competency training, and development of facilities engineering and operations personnel.
  • Develop full-scope contingency plans for utilities' emergency stoppage.
  • Establishes a system to proactively manage efforts to minimize risk and to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standard requirements.
  • Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of hospital equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company
  • Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Review work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
  • Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.
  • Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be a licensed Engineer
  • With at least 5 years of relevant Managerial experience
  • With strong leadership skills
