Job Level Required:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Facilities management
• College Graduate - Engineering Background/Facilities Management course
• Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
• Preferable a Safety Officer 2

Office Location: Cogon Ramos, Cebu City (landmark: near Sacred Heart Center)

Job Description:

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer will be involved managing staff and projects, overseeing maintenance of building systems, managing vendors and contracts, handling finances, maintaining client relationships, and providing regular reports. They may also be responsible for additional tasks like environmental health and safety implementation, asset management, and personnel recommendations.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinates work assignments among technicians, vendors, and contractors. Accepts and reviews work/job orders to ensure that assignments are completed.

· Reviews and approves vendor/contractor performance evaluation, capability and compliance aligned with the organizations processes and standards.

· Reviews and analyzes budgets and schedules of facility projects, upgrades and improvements including cost management for all administrative related expenditures.

· Reviews and approves designed preventive maintenance programs and systems that effectively manage use and operation of all facility and administrative equipment.

· Reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

· Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Responds to problems in a tactful and expedient manner. Attends client meetings for facilities matters.

· Oversees the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of all ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric and other systems to ensure efficient operation. Inspects facility and generates inspection reports.

· Prepares capital project budgets and operating budget reports. Prepares monthly operating budget variance reports.

· Codes accounts payable invoices to ensure correct cost center accounting classification.

· Manages various facilities projects across GMPI and its' affiliate companies

· Provides a monthly written report covering the main areas of management to the Executives.

· Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

· Manages a group of technicians. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating.

· Responsible for recommendation to hire prospective candidates, terminations, compensation and performance evaluation.

· Manages EHS Implementation on Sites Handled

· Asset Management

· Contract Management

· Manages the facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within the prescribed budget.
