Role Overview
The Inside Sales Account Officer is a full-cycle solar consultant responsible for managing the entire customer journey—from lead generation, closing, installation, to referral—using digital tools and internal coordination. While working remotely or in-office, this role ensures a seamless and high-conversion experience by proactively guiding clients through sales, site validation (via a dedicated engineer), project coordination, and post-installation support.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
● Sales work experience, /, or CRM software is a plus.
● At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in power industry, renewable energy, automobile, construction, or utilities.
● Proven track record in lead generation, sales pipeline management, and closing deals.
● Experience in residential rooftop solar sales is an advantage but not required.
● Strong B2C sales experience, with the ability to engage homeowners, small businesses, and decision-makers.
● Familiarity with lead generation strategies (referrals, cold calling, social media, networking).
● Knowledge of sales cycle management, customer acquisition, and negotiation techniques.
● Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for tracking leads and sales performance.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective sales pitches and presentations.
● Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
● Basic understanding of solar energy, net metering, and system components.
