Procurement Parts Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing & Negotiation: Canvass and Identify potential suppliers, gather quotes and analyze price quotes from multiple vendors to get the best value

  2. Document Management: Prepare, and process purchase orders and other procurement-related documents with accuracy and efficiency.

  3. Order & Delivery Tracking: Monitor the status of purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders and receipt of goods.

  4. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized procurement records, files, warranty papers and databases for reporting purposes.

  5. Administrative Support: Filing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, vendor accreditation files, and performing other clerical duties as needed.

  6. On-site procurement: Travel to different vendors, suppliers, and distribution centers to pick up items, resolve shipping errors, and address quality issues.

  7. Perform other duties that may be assigned by your Immediate Head.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year in a procurement role is often required, with specific experience in parts management or the automotive/machinery sector being highly valued.
  • Experience in building and managing supplier relationships and assessing supplier performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks effectively.
  • Willing to do field work.
