Job Description:

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of government permits and licenses, registration of companies with pertinent government offices/agencies.
  • Coordination between government agencies/offices and the lawyers of the firm regarding corporate, tax, litigation, and immigration matters
  • Responsible for the timely submission of all legal documents and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Draft correspondence and documentary requirements.
  • Responsible for administering and maintaining multiple client files in a paper or electronic filing systems.
  • Establish, maintain, and update client's data in a database and generate reports as appropriate.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Participates actively in company-initiated activities.
  • Undertakes related and other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Political Science, Legal Management, or Business Administration.
  • Relevant experience in a law firm or legal services industry is a plus.
  • Must have prior experience dealing with local government agencies: SEC, BIR, DOLE, BI etc.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) software (i.e. Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook) and databases to manage voluminous data.
  • Basic legal and administrative research skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and has exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicant must be willing to work in Makati.
