Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal at New San Jose Builders, Inc. located in Quezon City. The Paralegal will be responsible for tasks such as legal document preparation, communication with clients and legal teams, conducting research, and reviewing documents on a daily basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Attend Conciliation Conference at the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development.

2.     Maintain general contact with client involved in the conciliation conferences to address their legal concerns.

3.     Assist the Officer in Charge and Lawyer in any matters.

4.     Draft legal documents, correspondences, and pleadings.

5.     Organize and maintains documents in a paper or electronic filing system.

6.     Filing of legal documents in the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission and/or National Labor Relations Commission.

7.     Other responsibilities and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

SKILLS AND COMPENTECIES:

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

·      Strong oral and written communication skills.

·      Excellent organizational skills.

·      Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

·      Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.

·      Office administration experience.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE BACKGROND:

·      Candidate must at least be a bachelor's degree in the liberal arts, humanities, legal management, political science. Graduates of Juris Doctor or Bachelors of Law is preferred.

·      Candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the legal field.
