The HR Manager oversees the recruitment, scheduling, and engagement of home-based tutors to ensure a stable supply that meets student demand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure a stable supply of new home-based tutors through recruitment strategies and process improvements.
- Oversee tutor hiring, onboarding, and scheduling aligned with instructional demand.
- Monitor recruitment and engagement KPIs, reducing lead time and improving conversion rates.
- Manage tutor support initiatives to ensure fair scheduling, satisfaction, and retention.
- Ensure effective tutor-student matching to meet fluctuating demand.
- Mentor and coach department managers (Recruitment and Engagement) to achieve goals.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve tutor utilization and lesson quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR, Education, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in ESL operations, tutor management, or workforce deployment, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, operations management, and online ESL platforms.
- Advanced skills in data analysis, workforce planning, and process improvement.
- Customer service orientation, with ability to drive tutor satisfaction and performance.
