Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services for 30+ development teams.

Develop and manage infrastructure as code.

Debugging runtime issues and solving complex problems under the radar or in the heat of fatal system incidents

Participate in on-call rotations.

Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

Implement best practices for security, reliability, and performance.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

What you will need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar role.

Proficiency in at least one programming language

Extensive experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code provider

In-depth experience with AWS cloud services.

Excellent skills in Linux

Having worked with at least one Databaseproduct, preferably Mongodb or Elasticsearch

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

In Depth knowledge of networking and TCP/IP

Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Go or Java.

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

Strong experience in observability platforms like Promethus, Elastic APM, InfluxDB and Grafana
