Job Title: Data Migration Specialist (Short-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid (Philippines)

Contract Duration: 3 Months

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Migration Specialist to support our transition from an existing database to a new system. This is a short-term contract role (3months) ideal for someone with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will ensure that all data is accurately migrated, cleaned, and validated to maintain data integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

● Migrate data from legacy systems into the new database platform.

● Perform data cleansing and filtering to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

● Identify and resolve data quality issues during the migration process.

● Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements, mapping, and validation rules.

● Document migration processes, issues encountered, and resolutions.

● Conduct post-migration testing and validation to confirm data integrity.

● Provide recommendations for data management improvements where applicable.

Qualifications

● Proven experience in data migration, data entry, or database management.

● Strong understanding of database structures and data transformation processes.

● Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or other data management/migration tools.

● Experience with data cleansing and quality assurance techniques.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

● Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Work Setup

● Hybrid (Philippines-based applicants only): Combination of remote work and occasional in-office collaboration.

● 3-month contract with possibility of extension depending on project needs.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From Php28,000.00 per month
