Job Overview

We're seeking an expert Google Ads Specialist to join our growing Australian trades business and take ownership of our digital advertising strategy. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with historical performance data from millions in previous ad spend while building campaigns for an exciting new venture. You'll work directly with an experienced business owner who understands the value of quality digital marketing and is committed to investing in the right talent. This position combines technical data migration challenges with ongoing strategic campaign management, offering both immediate project work and long-term growth opportunities in a flexible, autonomous work environment.



Responsibilities
  • Lead the extraction and migration of valuable historical advertising data from a legacy AdWords account with millions in spend history
  • Set up and configure new Google Ads accounts with migrated performance data and insights
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Google Ads strategies for the Australian trade market
  • Conduct detailed performance analysis and attribution tracking to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Manage significant advertising budgets with focus on ROI and business growth
  • Provide regular strategic updates and collaborate daily with business leadership
  • Take initiative in identifying optimization opportunities and implementing improvements
  • Work autonomously while maintaining open communication about challenges and strategic recommendations
Requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads platform with deep technical understanding
  • Proven experience with large-scale advertising budgets and complex data migration projects
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in direct data attribution and performance tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take proactive initiative
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence to speak up about issues and opportunities
  • Experience managing campaigns in competitive markets with substantial budget responsibility
  • Ability to work flexible hours with availability for daily collaboration sessions
  • Track record of driving measurable results through strategic campaign optimization
