Technical Support Assistant

Position Overview:
The role is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across all stores, departments, the Head Office, and the Warehouse. The position ensures the stability, security, and functionality of all IT systems and equipment, supporting end-users and maintaining operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 technical support for all departments and stores.
- Deliver timely assistance for all technical concerns and service requests.
- Ensure the stability and operational performance of all IT equipment in the Head Office, Warehouse, and retail locations.
- Maintain all workstations, ensuring they are protected from damage, misuse, or technical issues.
- Monitor and assist with weekly backups for all users, servers, and store systems.
- Track and manage loaned or borrowed IT equipment.
- Install and configure hardware and software as needed by end-users.
- Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
- Monitor and document IT Helpdesk activities and tickets.
- Perform and oversee daily and weekly data backups for all client users.
- Coordinate with users and vendors to address POS-related technical issues.
- Support department and user-specific technical needs and requirements.
- Maintain records and track requests for additional IT equipment, software, or services.
- Monitor the performance and security of the network and telephone systems.
- Support inventory processes by managing physical count data uploads.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in computer systems; strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems.
- Fresh graduates with excellent academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
- At least six months of relevant experience is a plus.
