A U.S.-based virtual law office with a Manila-based support team is seeking a hands-on and dependable Technical Assistant to provide on-site IT and technical support at business locations in Makati.This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, problem-solving individual who can respond quickly to technical issues, maintain office equipment, and ensure that all systems run smoothly to support daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site technical support for computers, printers, networking, and audiovisual systems.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the office.Set up and configure devices, equipment, and digital tools for attorneys and staff.Assist with installation, upgrades, and maintenance of software and office systems.Support videoconferencing, presentations, and office-based digital workflows.Maintain inventory and proper documentation of technical equipment and configurations.Coordinate with remote IT consultants or vendors when needed.Ensure data security and system reliability during day-to-day operations.Work ScheduleMust be available to report to the Makati office when required.Occasional after-hours support may be required for system checks or troubleshooting.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and basic troubleshooting.Familiarity with Windows, macOS, printers, routers, and common office IT setups.Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and video conferencing tools.Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).Reliable, punctual, and capable of responding to on-site calls promptly.Highly organized with attention to detail and technical accuracy.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as an IT Support Staff, Technical Assistant, or On-Site Technician.Familiarity with data backup systems, cybersecurity basics, and office hardware maintenance.Knowledge of multimedia setups, smart TVs, projectors, and audio equipment.Experience providing support in legal, medical, or professional office environments is an advantage.Employment DetailsContract Type: Project-Based / Part-TimeContract Length: 6 months (probationary) to long-term (>1 year)Pay Rate:Minimum ₱200/hour (on-call or project-based)Additional compensation for emergency or after-hours supportExpected Hours: As needed (typically 10–20 hours per week)BenefitsPaid training opportunitiesExposure to U.S.-based law office operations and technology systemsFlexible scheduling based on workload and office needsPerformance-based incentivesWork LocationOn-Site Only: Office sharing or assigned business location in Makati, NCRNo remote work option – must be physically available to report for technical support when needed.Job Type: Part-timePay: From Php200.00 per hourWork Location: In person
