BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Unilever Supply Chain involves the partnership with warehousing and trucking companies to ensure timely fulfilment and excellent service. The partnership spans dozens of warehouses and depots, and thousands of trucks, not only in the Philippines but in the whole of Greater Asia and Indonesia. This complex operation is made more challenging with underdeveloped road system infrastructure and a far from mature safety driving/riding mindset and culture. Unilever aims to be a catalyst of safe travel in all areas we operate in, and this role is in a prime place to be a positive agent of change.

This includes providing Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) leadership and practical support and driving SSHE improvement programs across Go-To-Market (GTM) operations in Greater Asia and Indonesia in particular collaborative logistics and manufacturing.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
As part of Greater Asia and Indonesia SHE Go to Market Organization, your role will include as follow:

• Deploy and enhance the Philippines Logistics Safety Program, spanning transport and warehousing safety, aiming to eliminate logistics related fatalities and drastically reduce incidents

• Deploy global programs in the Greater Asia and Indonesia cluster relating to Collaborative Logistics and Manufacturing.

• Ensure MMR compliance across all Collaborative Manufacturing Partners

Experiences & Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs Relevant knowledge gained through on-the-job learning, especially in the areas of SSHE systems management

• Must have experience working in a logistics related field either/both in transport and warehousing

• Preferably have licensure and/or certification as a Safety Officer as prescribed by DOLE (SO 1-5)

• Preferably has experience and/or certification pertaining to the Fire Code of the Philippines

Scope: Local: Philippines Collaborative Logistics and Manufacturing Manager; Regional: Greater Asia and Indonesia Collaborative Logistics and Manufacturing Capabilities Lead
Location: OJP is open to Philippines-based candidates, with flexibility within East or Greater Asia. Candidates must be able to travel regularly to Metro Manila, Laguna, and Cavite sites, as well as other locations in the Philippines as needed. Business travel to any country within Greater Asia and Indonesia may also be required.
