The Sous Chef assists the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning and daily kitchen management. The Sous Chef plays a key role in maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency in all culinary activities.

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants.

  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and costing.

  • Maintain inventory levels, monitor food stock, and ensure proper storage.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

  • Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.

  • Step in to lead the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
