About the role

Wintex Logistics Corp. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting operations and contribute to the overall success of our growing logistics business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and other accounting records
  2. Perform data entry, reconciliations, and other bookkeeping tasks with high accuracy
  3. Ensure the proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records
  4. Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including processing invoices and payments
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial information
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant educational background in accounting or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the logistics industry
  3. Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work well in a team and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  7. Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices
