About the role

Mitsukoshi Federal Retail, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant (Inventory) to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position responsible for providing support to the accounting team with a focus on inventory management and fixed asset tracking.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accurate stock records
  • Assist with the processing of fixed asset purchases, disposals and depreciation calculations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to inventory and fixed assets
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Prepare inventory and fixed asset reports for management review
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or inventory management role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and fixed asset accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
