Qualifications

  • Must be a college graduate with a degree in Bachelor Science in Accountancy or any Accounting degree.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Outstanding communication skills using the English language, written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • A keen learner and a diligent individual.
  • Possession of knowledge of computers and application software, including Excel (Proficient in different formulas such as vlookup, index-match, countif, pivot etc) in creating financial reports
  • Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, in addition to sound organizational skills
  • Proficient in planning and organizing tasks, managing priorities, and utilizing available resources in completing tasks within the deadline.

Job Description

  • Understands the scope of work based on the Client Arrangement Letter.
  • Understands basic accounting concepts, interrelationships and between accounts and effects of bookings made on financial statements.
  • Prepares and records accounting entries that reflect patterned and consistent transactions.
  • Performs accounting functions, e.g., bank reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable monitoring, bookkeeping functions, financial statements and supporting schedules preparation as well as assistance during the audit of clients.
  • Ensures that transaction processing and review are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adheres to and strictly complies with the Company's operational control guidelines (e.g. MontPac way, MontPac Reporting Standards).
  • Ensures proper and timely communication with clients including follow-ups of client deliverables (e.g. e-mails, conference calls, etc.).
  • Assists in the preparation of client time budgets and monitors client profitability.
