Job Title: Accounting Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Review and verify expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing tax filings and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
  • Perform other accounting duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (entry-level candidates with internships considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or NetSuite).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php20,000.00 per month
