The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager ensures that the organization maintains a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle — from job posting and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.

2. Employee Relations

  • Promote a positive and harmonious workplace culture.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
  • Collaborate with department heads to set KPIs and performance standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers for employee development.

4. Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer payroll and benefits programs in compliance with company policy and government regulations.
  • Review and recommend salary adjustments and incentive schemes.
  • Ensure timely government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).

5. Policy Development and Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company standards.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation.

6. Training and Development

  • Assess training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Support succession planning and career growth initiatives.

7. HR Strategy and Reporting

  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
  • Participate in strategic planning and organizational development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a senior HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office applications.
  • Preferably with experience in policy creation, recruitment, and employee engagement programs.
