We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for a leading player in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage strategic procurement plans aligned with company goals.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services needed for operations.
  • Oversee vendor qualification, audits, and performance management.
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, finance, and quality teams to support business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process optimization in procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement best practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop a team.
