KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • End to End Procurement Process from Requisition to Goods Supply.
  • Processing of purchase requisitions in accordance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely deliveries at the right cost for goods and purchases for internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team on management of suppliers, supply / demand planning, inventory management and order fulfilment

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

  • Monitor, record and report on Vendor Performance and KPI data to manage supplier performance issues
  • Promote awareness of procurement practices

SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT

  • Drive improvements of procurement systems and processes.
  • Support and provide advice for staff involved in procurement and purchasing

COST REDUCTION

  • Drive saving for vessel / project spending.
  • Reduce operation overhead by improving and removing unnecessary elements.

ADDITIONAL PROCUREMENT TASK

  • Ensure procurement process comply with HSEQ requirement.
  • Improve teamwork between various teams. And any ad-hoc project

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years' procurement experience working in a similar role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications preferably in Marine-related industry.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (preferred in marine)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Demonstrable analytical capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills
