GENERAL FUNCTION

This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouses, which include those for the Finished Goods (FG), Work-In-Process (WIP), Raw and Packaging Materials (RPM), Marketing Supplies and Bad Orders. The supervision activities include those for material and goods transfers, system transactions, inventory management, manpower scheduling and handling, equipment and facility monitoring and maintenance, and returns management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WAREHOUSING FUNCTIONS

1.    Manages the overall transfer activities of staff on physical receiving, put-away, storing and issuance of items: RPM, WIP, FG, Marketing Items and Bad Orders or Returns.

2.    Supervises the system transactions of the Logistics Associate.

3.    Implements the prescribed methods to maintain accurate inventory of physical stocks versus system stocks and accounts for inventory variances.

4.    Monitors the freshness of stocks and reports near-expiry or obsolete items to Management.

5.    Leads housekeeping and facility maintenance of the warehouses.

6.    Leads monitoring and maintenance of equipment.

7.    Supervises Logistics Associate on returns and bad orders management

8.    Handles the Petty Cash for daily operational expenses like meals, toll fees, etc. and submits expense report to Finance.

LEADERSHIP FUNCTIONS

1.    Manages the Warehouse staff of regular and probationary employees.

2.    Coordinates with Subcon Officer on the subcon staff schedule.

3.    Drafts the Warehouse staffing schedule for approval by Management.

4.    Endorses rendered overtime of staff for approval by Management.

5.    Endorses staffing requirements for approval by Management and HRMD.

6.    Performs periodic evaluation of performance of staff and makes the manpower training plan.

7.    Prepares and consolidates the Warehouse Reports.

8.    Represents the Warehouse for formal interactions with Interfacing Unit heads.

9.    Performs projects related to the Warehouse activities as assigned by Management.
