We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Staff member to oversee day-to-day repair and upkeep tasks within a private household. This role ensures that all household systems, fixtures, and equipment are properly maintained, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning living environment.

Essential Functions

  • Perform routine inspections of household areas, appliances, and fixtures to identify repair or maintenance needs.
  • Carry out minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
  • Maintain outdoor areas (gardens, walkways, fences, gates, and exterior lighting).
  • Oversee and service household equipment (air conditioning units, water pumps, generators, etc.).Handle basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, filter replacement, tightening, and cleaning.
  • Monitor and coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized work (e.g., deep cleaning, major repairs, pest control).
  • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and inventoried.
  • Respond promptly to urgent household repair needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, flooding, leaks, equipment breakdowns, or other urgent repair needs.Provide immediate support in household safety incidents (e.g., fire, water damage, electrical hazards) until professional emergency services arrive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and household equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
