Job Description:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Ensure accuracy of day-to-day transactions related to payables and receivables.

Treasury

  • Ensure bank reconciliations are up to date, preferably on weekly basis, and prepare weekly cash-position and cash-flow reports.

Bank Account Management

  • Oversee bank account balances and efficiently manage cash deposits and withdrawals.

Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis

  • Maintain journal entries and general ledger records up to date.
  • Prepare weekly financial performance updates for operations.
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements with analysis.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports with insights.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and contribute to effective financial planning.

Ad Hoc Task

  • Business Continuity for the Finance Manager: Supports urgent tasks during the absence of the immediate superior to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of a Bachelor of Science and Accountancy or any Business Administration course related to Finance and Accounting.

Technical Skills: Ability to maintain computerized bookkeeping records; experience using QuickBooks or Xero accounting systems.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.

Communication & Leadership: Strong oral and written communication skills with leadership potential.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
