Job Summary:

The Sanitation Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the sanitation operations to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment in accordance with food safety standards. This role supervises a team of sanitation workers and coordinates cleaning schedules and activities within the production and storage areas of the company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the sanitation team in daily cleaning and sanitation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and company sanitation protocols.
  • Create and maintain cleaning schedules and verify completion of all sanitation tasks.
  • Inspect production and storage areas to ensure cleanliness and report any deviations or concerns.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Production departments for sanitation needs and corrective actions.
  • Train and coach sanitation staff on proper procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use.
  • Ensure proper usage and inventory control of cleaning supplies and sanitizing agents.
  • Complete documentation and reports related to sanitation tasks and inspections.
  • Support compliance during internal and external audits.
  • Lead incident response in case of sanitation-related non-conformities or accidents.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or technical training in sanitation or food safety is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sanitation, preferably in a food production or seafood processing environment.
  • Prior supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, SSOP).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule and perform physical tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Cold and wet production areas
  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • May involve lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,070.00 per month
