Business Development Associate

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Were looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development Associate who will work closely with our Marketing and Program Teams to grow our client base, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the Company's vision of regional leadership in executive learning.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

• Engagement Type: Full-time Employee (Direct Hire)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid; Onsite reporting is once a month or whenever necessary, the rest is remote work, required to attend weekly department meeting.
• Location: 3006, 33F, One Corporate Center, Meralco Ave., cor. J. Vargas Ave., Ortigas Center, Brgy. San Antonio, Pasig City 1605
• Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Philippine Time)

COMPENSATION:

• PhP 25,000.00 plus a 5%-10% commission

REPORTING LINE:

• Reporting to Business Development Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and generate new leads from corporations, government agencies, and educational institutions
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives
• Craft compelling proposals and pitch presentations tailored to client needs
• Work with program designers to co-develop client-centric solutions
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records and track engagement metrics
• Support the Company's presence at summits, conferences, and networking events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (training or consulting a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to meet targets and build meaningful client relationships
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and follow-through
• Familiarity with CRM systems, LinkedIn prospecting, and proposal writing
• Interest in leadership, innovation, education, and nation-building
• Values-driven and eager to work with a purpose-led team
• Background in selling training programs, executive education, or consulting services is preferred, but not required
• Has worked with or for educational institutions, NGOs, or government units is preferred, but not required
• Experience in organizing events, workshops, or immersive leadership sessions is preferred, but not required

• Strategic Thinker with Sales Discipline: Understands consultative and value-based selling, able to identify market segments aligned with TRAILs leadership and innovation programs, and can craft compelling proposals, pitch decks, and co-designs with the marketing team
• Strong Communicator and Relationship-Builder: Confident in presenting to executives, schools, government units, and NGOs, listens deeply to client needs and translates them into program opportunities, and builds long-term trust with institutional partners and decision-makers
• Collaborative and Cross-Functional: Works fluidly across Marketing, Program Design, and Delivery teams, can coordinate timelines, collaterals, and hand-offs between sales, consultants, and admin, and comfortable working in both formal corporate environments and mission-driven settings
• Self-Starter and Agile Learner: Proactive in lead generation, account follow-ups, and CRM updates, capable of adjusting to different industries (education, government, business), and eager to learn the Company's leadership language and frameworks to speak with credibility
• Digitally Fluent and Data-Informed: Familiar with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, email marketing systems, able to interpret performance metrics and sales conversion data, and can contribute insights to marketing campaigns (which messages convert, which audiences engage)
• Mission-Aligned and Values-Driven: Genuinely interested in leadership development, innovation, and nation-building and understands that business development isn't just about sales, its about impact

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25,000.00 per month
