About the role

We are seeking an experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team at the B Hotel Quezon City. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our banquet services.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of banquet staff to ensure efficient and timely service during events
  • Liaise with event organisers and clients to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to support banquet operations
  • Ensure all health, safetyand hygiene standards are maintained in the banquet areas
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the banquet team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on banquet operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Banquet Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to liaise effectively with clients
  • Strong operational and logistical planning capabilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with health, safetyand hygiene regulations in a banquet/catering environment
  • Proficient in using relevant software for inventory management and reporting
