Your Role

As an AU Customer Support Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
  • Resolve customer issues by identifying the problem, determining the cause, recommending solutions, and ensuring follow-up for full resolution.
  • Balance customer needs with business requirements when providing solutions.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to support efficient issue resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's fleet and New Zealand geography.
  • Complete all assigned tasks accurately, professionally, and within deadlines.
  • Manage customer complaints effectively and escalate when necessary.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to assist branches and departments with complaint resolution.
  • Participate in Health & Safety programs and represent the company professionally.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks assigned to support business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Claims handling and data entry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word; D365 is an advantage).
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and effective communicator with a proactive attitude.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays with notice.
