Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Alabang / Makati (Open to both locations), Philippines

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract


ROLE 1: Automation Test Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation tools and scripting, with the ability to drive best practices and technical excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation initiatives by defining strategy, frameworks, and standards for testing.
  • Deliver regular project updates, including progress reports, issue tracking, and timelines, to key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks and ensure their adoption across multiple teams.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize the automation environment to align with software, OS, and hardware requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure high-quality automation practices.
  • Architect tool integrations within the testing landscape based on application architecture.
  • Develop custom utilities or tools as needed (e.g., for data generation, reporting, or test optimization).

ROLE 2: Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in Corporate Internet Banking and related banking domains. The role involves end-to-end testing of complex banking systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Must-Have Expertise:

  • Corporate Internet Banking

Preferred Experience in Any of the Following Areas:

  • Channels
  • Cards
  • Core Banking
  • Front-End Applications
  • Wealth Management (Avaloq)
  • Mobile and Web Internet Banking

Good to Have:

  • Biller Systems
  • Intellect Collection Systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing across core banking modules and digital channels.
  • Verify transaction processing, account management, and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and integration teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Execute functional, regression, and system integration testing to maintain software reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data accuracy, and security standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, defect logs, and test reports using standard tools.
  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, review meetings, and provide timely updates on testing progress and issues.
