QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.

  • Certification: In Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).

  • At least 1-3 years in food manufacturing, bakery operations, or quality assurance roles.

  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, BRC, SQF, or ISO 22000.

  • Ability to perform inspections, audits, and laboratory testing.

  • Ensuring products meet quality specifications.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.

  • Maintaining accurate quality records and reports.

  • Familiarity with bakery processes and ingredients.

  • Ability to implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Knowledge of allergen management and labeling requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards through inspections and audits.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to meet quality criteria.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks and corrective actions.
  • Develop and update quality policies and standards.
  • Train staff on quality, hygiene, and safety practices.
  • Investigate and resolve product quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production to maintain quality throughout processes.
  • Assess and monitor supplier quality.
  • Use data to identify improvements and support certifications.
  • Manage customer feedback to enhance product quality.
