Position Overview:

A Virtual Medical Scribe assists healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time, allowing providers to focus on direct patient care. The scribe listens to physician-patient interactions and transcribes the details into electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring accurate and timely medical documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

· Scribing medical charts

· Live scribing with a provider (requires webcam on)

· Calling out to medical companies, such as other doctors' offices, medical equipment companies, home health, etc.

· Navigating through EMR

· Assisting Physicians in clerical tasks virtually.

· Updating Excel sheets

· Medical Records Requests

· Follow-up patient calls

Job Qualifications:

· Current RN (Registered Nurse) license or Graduate from any medical course

· Must have at least 1 year of experience in live scribing while working as a Medical Virtual Assistant (Medical VA Scribe).

· Type 40-50 words per minute

· Highly proficient in MS Office, Google Drive, Google Sheets, email, accessing documents, reports, spreadsheets, etc.

· Proficient in the English Language, both written and verbal

· Experience working with an EMR (electronic medical record)

· Proactive communication

· Can have access to , and navigate through, phone systems

· Present Time management skills (prioritize and organize)

· Quality Customer Service

· Patient scheduling skills

· Calling patients back for Follow-ups/ reminders

· Document Management and Email Management

· Highly Reliable, Self-Motivated, Willing to Learn, and a Multitasker

· Present Good Decision Making, Responsive, Detail-Oriented

· Team Work

· Other duties as assigned
