Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Medical Scribe with exclusive experience utilizing the ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) electronic health record system. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining comprehensive medical records. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency of clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately document patient visits in real-time during exams and procedures.
  • Record medical histories, exams, and treatment plans in the EMR.
  • Ensure documentation meets legal, ethical, and clinical standards.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Work closely with providers to improve workflow and patient care.
  • Use medical terminology correctly to ensure accurate notes.
  • Prepare charts and documentation ahead of patient visits.
  • Stay current on EMR systems and best documentation practices.

Skills

  • Fast, accurate typing and transcription skills.
  • EMR/EHR experience required; ModMed preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows; prior medical office experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terms, anatomy, and physiology.
  • ER experience is a bonus for handling high-paced environments.
  • Adheres to HIPAA and maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Clear communication and strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php7.00 - Php10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
