About the role

Transpeed Communications is seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Virtual Assistant to join our team in Ortigas City, Metro Manila.

This is a part-time role with flexible work options for the right candidate.

Schedule: Sunday to Monday, Philippine Time, 9 hours per day.(Note: There may be an opportunity to transition to a full-time position depending on performance after 1–2 months.)

As a Medical Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare clients with administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operations and an excellent patient experience.

What you'll be doing

A. Clinical & Administrative Support


• Review and update patient records in AdvancedMD


• Accurately input, verify, and maintain patient demographics, medical history, and visit notes


• Support physicians with pre-charting and documentation as needed


• Process medication refill requests per doctor's protocols

B. Appointment & Patient Coordination


• Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations within AdvancedMD


• Confirm appointments with patients and provide reminders


• Handle patient intake information via calls, messages or telehealth platforms

C. Medical Documentation & Charting


• Assist with updating SOAP notes, encounter documentation, and coding support


• Ensure proper filing of lab results, imaging, and referrals in the EMR


• Prepare physician for patient visits with updated charts & records

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers and insurance companies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using medical software, electronic health record systems and other relevant technologies
  • Must be a Nursing Graduate
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy
